Settable electric touch panel with CAN-BUS controller

Modular touch glass panel with backlit symbols. It comes with a 48-stickers card to be applied under the glass showing the panel functions.
Leaves the surface smooth and the effect of a printed panel.

Every switch can be set in 3 different modes:

- Traditional ON-OFF: press a key to activate/deactivate the relating function.
E.g.: COCKPIT LIGHTS

- Temporary (ON)-OFF: this function is active only while the key is pressed.
Ex. 1: switch – HORN
Ex. 2: switches – WINDLASS UP/DOWN

- ALTERNATE ON-OFF: two keys can be set to activate a function and deactivate another one and vice versa.
E.g.: BILGE PUMP IN MANUAL/AUTOMATIC MODE

The keys are backlit in yellow when in standard mode, in blue when the function is active and in red in case of short circuit.
The panels are designed to be modular: if placed side by side in vertical and/or horizontal position, they look like a single built-in panel with 4, 6, 8 (4 + 4), 10 (6+4), 12 (6 + 6) switches and so on.
The connection between the control unit and the panel is pre-wired with a quick connector. Cable length 1.5m with the option to add an extension of an additional 1.5m.

The MOSFET module is a protection against overloads and voltage inversions. The CAN-BUS is fitted with 4 or 6 thermal fuses that activate in case of short circuit (function key lit in red).
The fuse can be reset automatically once the short circuit has been solved and the key is then lit in yellow
