Bacterial pollution of diesel fuel is a serious and complex question that has increasingly developed in recent times. Differently from traditional diesel sludge (paraffin, carbonaceous residues and tar), that is fluidized by Fastol and then added back to the fuel, bacterial sludge is soluble only in acids. Some ppm of water is enough to develop bacteria. The residues of the bacteria colonies are mucilage, algae, moulds or filaments that increase rapidly and clog filters and pipes causing damage and even engine failures. Their proliferation also starts corrosion in the tank.

ECO-BACT H-Power is a biocide whose active principle has been boosted: it’s as effective as the previous formula but requires lower quantities and therefore the operating costs are much reduced. It is soluble in both water and diesel, that concentrates in the aqueous phase of the diesel fuel where contamination concentrates.
ECO-BACT H-Power decontaminates polluted fuel tanks and can be used periodically to prevent contamination.
