Il monossido di carbonio © generato dai motori a scoppio. Un generatore di corrente con lo scappamento difettoso che rilascia in sentina i gas di scarico, può essere pericolosissimo per gli occupanti. Il " Sentinel" rileva l' accumulo di CO nell' aria, e mettendo allarme ottico + sonoro spegne automaticamente il generatore. Può essere collegato a ulteriori allarmi ottici o sonori, ed ha un consumo di corrente irrisorio.
