Always verify the engine code shown in your owner's manual. The stainless steel propellers in this section are compatible with Evinrude G1 engines that use standard pitch propellers. If you have any doubts, provide us with the exact model of your engine and we will indicate the correct propeller.
Even though stainless steel is corrosion-resistant, it is still advisable to periodically apply a specific marine-grade protectant. This will help prevent the formation of fouling and keep the propeller in perfect condition over time. Also, regularly check the engine's sacrificial anodes and replace them when necessary.
3-blade propellers are generally faster, while 4-blade propellers offer more thrust and quicker acceleration. The choice depends on the type of boat and your driving preferences. For pleasure boats and sport fishing boats, 3-blade propellers are often the best choice. For work boats or those requiring greater towing capacity, 4-blade propellers may be more suitable.
