Can I connect the purifier directly to the water tank?

Technically yes, but it is not recommended for efficient use of the cartridge. It is best to install the purifier downstream of the tank, ideally before the main tap or the kitchen tap, to purify only the water that is actually used. This way the filter cartridge lasts longer and avoids unnecessary waste.

How often should I change the filter cartridge?

The frequency of filter cartridge replacement depends mainly on water consumption and its initial quality. Generally, we recommend replacing the cartridge every 6-12 months for standard use. However, if you notice a significant drop in flow rate, a strange taste in the purified water, or an increase in turbidity, it is advisable to replace it immediately.

Are all boat water filters the same?

Absolutely not. Cheaper models often use low-quality filters or materials that are not suitable for the marine environment, which may not effectively remove all impurities and contaminants present in the water. Can I use a boat water purifier for seawater as well?
